Tana: A unity enforced through fear is not true unity!

Kana: Then what? If you cannot get along when you have freedom, then you do not deserve that freedom. All these wars just because of trifle matters like religion and race… I’m sick to the core of all these petty events. If you will not stop them, then I will!

Tana: Even so… it is only with freedom that people can mature, move on, and advance! Take away that freedom, and they will end up bearing hatred for as long as they live!

Kana: You’re idealistic… Too idealistic for your own good.

Tana: What?

Kana: What a pity… you don’t remember? The extreme prejudice that only a war between supernations can bring. People hating each other, killing each other just because they happen to be standing on the wrong side of some imaginary line drawn by faceless officers, killing each other just because they happen to have different beliefs, trampling on each other’s hopes just because they’ve been taught to think that way. Women, children, noncombatants… all buried under hatred. Under fear. Under malice.

Someone like you who’s grown complacent over a mere five years of peace will never be able to understand that!
